When I meet ppl, I usually like to tell them a lot of stories and feelings. Equally, a lot of times I kinda forget about the timeline of when things happened. I wanna stop doing that, so this is where I’ll offload the pressure of remembering everything I wanted to just simply express.

Start Anywhere. But here might be fun:

Restarting life - 8,000km away. - My living account of moving from Ireland to San Francisco. I update this every couple of months.

Redis Idealism - Exploring the practicality of using Redis as a primary database, and a first-class data store.

I like photography, I’m not sure if it likes me back. - Photos I’ve taken with that I felt were good enough to post.

Like Everyone Else - A (mini) honest self reflection on fitting into SV culture, and becoming more curious about the cross-pollination of interests.

The Internal and External Model. - Realizing the strain of trying too hard to reconcile the external state of the world to my internal model. And why it’s okay to not feel that desire to do it as much.

Aspirations for the Silent Observer - Dialogue between me, and the the concept of the silent observer.

Creativity, Constrain, Accessibility - Software Engineering to me is a pure creative outlet, and activity. I worry about the lack of attention to form with LLM-aided tools, and start to appreciate how improving accessibility to topics might improve attention to form while retaining the amazing benefits of LLMs in coding.
